`get_document_settings`

A document's settings, as its Document settings dialog shows them: numbering style, whether a missing clause level is filled in, whether a sub-clause alone under its clause shows its number, its reference, and the document it imports defined terms from. termSources lists the project's documents it can import terms from, the one defining the most first. Change them with update\_document\_settings.

## Parameters

**documentId** `string`

The document. Falls back to context documentId if omitted.
