# List document versions

`list_document_versions`

List a document's saved versions, newest first, as the version history in the editor shows them: each one's versionId, name, when it was saved and who saved it, its description, `signed` for a signed version, and how many notes it has (`comments`, when it has any). Then compare\_document\_version says what changed since one, and restore\_document\_version goes back to one. create\_document\_snapshot saves a new one.

## Parameters

**documentId** `string` *required*

The HERO document.

**offset** `integer`

Where to start. Pass the previous result's page.nextOffset. Minimum: 0.

**limit** `integer`

How many to return at most; the result may hold fewer to fit. Minimum: 1.
